• Product Overview

The YG series rainwater grates are ideal pre-treatment equipment for water sources in large and medium-sized water supply and drainage projects. They are widely used in urban and residential area planning for the pretreatment of rainwater and sewage, as well as for removing impurities from influent water in water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants, power plants, and steel mills, thereby reducing the load on subsequent treatment processes.

• Structure and Working Principle

The YG series rainwater screen system consists of a frame, grid bars, cleaning tooth rakes, lifting chains, and a motor-driven reducer. During operation, the cleaning rake plate attached to the lifting chain is driven by the reducer to collect debris trapped in the submerged screen section. The lifting chains on both sides of the rake move synchronously, rotating clockwise from the rear to the front of the screen. When the tooth rake reaches the upper section, the debris falls by gravity due to the turning track and guide wheels, achieving effective cleaning.

The cleaning control system typically features an automatic control mechanism that supports both time-interval and liquid level differential controls (automatically initiating cleaning based on water level differences before and after the screen), designed to achieve high-efficiency operation and energy conservation.
  4. Corrosion resistance and durability: Key components can be treated with hot-dip galvanizing, heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings, or stainless steel to enhance corrosion resistance in humid environments.
  5. Safety features: The system is equipped with overload protection and other safety devices. In case of accidental jamming, it automatically stops operation and triggers an alarm, effectively safeguarding the equipment.
