The pre-treatment stage equipment is mainly divided into two categories: solid-liquid separation basic equipment and water quality regulation equipment. The core function is to remove impurities, regulate water quality, and provide protection for subsequent treatment. The specific equipment and functions are as follows:
1、 Solid liquid separation basic equipment
Grille cleaning machine: divided into coarse and fine grids, it intercepts floating and suspended objects such as leaves, plastics, and large particles of coal powder through grid bars to prevent blockage of subsequent equipment. It is suitable for the initial treatment of various types of power plant sewage.
Sedimentation tank: relying on gravity to achieve suspended particle sedimentation, divided into horizontal flow, vertical flow, and inclined plate (pipe) types; Coal containing wastewater is separated from coal powder using a coal water sedimentation tank. During the pretreatment of desulfurization wastewater, coagulants can be used to improve separation efficiency.
Air flotation equipment: produces tiny bubbles to adsorb oil droplets, fine suspended solids, and colloids, causing them to float and separate. It is suitable for oily wastewater (unit bearing cooling water, lubricating oil drainage) and can remove oil droplets below 10 μ m. It is more effective when combined with agglomeration technology.
Ultra magnetic separation equipment: For scenarios with high suspended solids such as coal containing wastewater, magnetic adsorption is used to quickly separate small particles, resulting in high treatment efficiency and small footprint. The effluent can be directly reused for coal transportation system flushing.
2、 Water quality control equipment
Regulating tank (homogenization tank): Buffer water volume, homogenize water quality, alleviate the fluctuation of sewage discharge to avoid process impact; Some oily wastewater regulating tanks are equipped with heating/cooling systems to stabilize the water temperature within the optimal treatment range (such as around 40 ℃).
Neutralization device: including neutralization tank, automatic dosing system, regulating the pH value of acidic/alkaline wastewater; Chemical regeneration wastewater can be treated by acid-base self neutralization or by adding agents such as lime milk and sulfuric acid to meet the pH requirements for subsequent treatment.
